Amazing, I'm still awake at 0452. Shocking-not really. Dawn is going to slowly creep in, and there are many miles before I sleep.
Finally saw "Lord of the Rings-Return of the King". I relise I am the last person on the earth over 21 to see this movie, besides George Bush. All I can say, is OMG. Fantastic. Pee'd my pants. I thought the movie was over about 3 times, before Miss Annie Lennox, sang. Although I barely could force myself to read the Hobit, the Movies were TOP notch. Excellent!!!
Read Sacha's entry on LJ. Makes me even more upset that I missed the concert. Hopefully can try to attempt to see him at another venue, although it won't be as close.
Six degrees of Kevin Bacon. Wednesday's fling was with someone I met on GAY.COM. I didn't know much about him, untill all was said and done. Laying next to him, I felt an immediate connection. He recently relocated from Austin (nothing in texas but steers and queers), to go to Mayo's Nurse Anethesist Program. He's only been here 3 weeks, and incidently lives 3 purse throws from
imyaj. What shocked me, laying naked to him, is when he told me where he worked. He WORKS in the Neuro-surgery ICU. YEs, Right below me. Yes, he works with a TON of people I know, and YES, he works with the same hot doctors. Its a little concern to me, since the gossip mill around the hospital runs 24/7. Six degrees of Kevin Bacon.
At any rate, he and his dog, Charlie, are heading to La Crosse for the weekend. Since I know La Crosse pretty well, I put together a little altered guide book, with maps, and suggestions of things to do. I am also going to enclose a CD and some beer chips to boot. A part of me, is that I am going to SMOOTHER this person like gravy on mash potatoes, and that I am Really setting myself up for a HUGE fall. I'm going to FALL FLAT ON MY FUCKING FACE, right in a pool of MUD. Yet, I also think maybe he may get to know me alittle bit more.... he did say he wanted to see me again, right??
Right. One has to take risks, even if the risk, is that I'm going to trip, right into a big black puddle of GOO....
