The situations I get myself into, and out of amaze me.
A nurse at work wanted me to see her 2 cats, and give them to me as a house warming gift. I went over for a wonderful dinner, and she had all the shit packed up and ready to go. The fat fur-balls were wonderful, and I thought it would be good for me and my depression if I had a "friend" or two.
Preceptions, like a mirror, can be misleading.
The cats never came around (after 3 weeks), shit and pissed on my sofa, ate a plant, and well...since I didn't find compainion ship in them, decided to "let them go." The previous owner decided that was fine and gave me some #'s to some animal shelters.
The animal shelters never called back.
The fur-balls-needed to go.
But how?
I thought it was really ballsy to give me these cats and then it was like-your stuck with them. Stuck with a smelly couch, with a mess to clean up.
But how?
Poison? Shoot 'em? I even thought of putting pot in the kat knip and get them stoned.
But atlass I couldn't do it.
Animals are like humans. They are living things. And I recalled the commandment "do not kill." This wasn't going to work out as planed.
After much debating "MR. T." came over last night and we caught em. One-was much harder to get, but they were caught, and taken outside, and taken to "a new home."
It just really puts things in perspective. Of what was, and what will be.
