Called the UHS survivor hotline, which has been designated as a resource to locate pts and staff from Methodist hospital. The number is: 1877-777-7762. I already called about Liz, and they were still compling data, but the lady I talked to was SUPER DUPER nice. I gave my phone number to contact me if she found out anything. Its safe to assume Liz has been with the hospital people the whole time, givin the information she left on her LJ, at last post. As of 9/2/05 in the afternoon, the ENTIRE, repeat, ENTIRE, hospital of Methodist East, has been RELOCATED. This is VERY good news....
A refreshing Breath
31 August 2005 23:42Met up with someone I have been talking to on the internet (gay.com). He came over and there was a nice dinner and coffee. It was very refreshing to meet someone who I could have a decent conversation with, watch a movie with and not have to explain everything. Wow there are quite normal people out there... crazy!
Still battling my cold. I'll have to try to get a script from one of the doc's this weekend. At least I am able to get out of bed and be somewhat active-but this cold is getting old.
Tried calling
auryn24's cell phone. Didn't even get her voice mail. Have been lurking in the Nola live journal group, with no results but interesting information is abound. Someone mentioned about how we can send troups over to a foriegn country, yet can't control a situation in our own country. Its so hard because the area is basically a ground zero. Everything is shut down, phone lines, power, and postal mail is totally out of the question. Pretty scary.....
