thirteenrocksAs a routine, the "boyz" meet on Wednesdays for cocktails and conversation. Emails start rolling out late Tuesday with the down low meeting spot, invites are exchanged and dished out untill the last minute.
Although I much enjoy the company of my social group, its becoming more of a nauseating display of homosexual flayboyant technology.
Sitting down to a meal, it would greatly inhance the atmopshere if we didn't take out our technological "toys" and play text messaging tag, photo frollic, or what each of them can and can not do. Don't remind me what each of the ring tones sound like-I'm already deaf.
Is this way gay men have subjected to? A battle of technology, lable gym bunnie whores? And where is Emily Post through all this? Rolling around in a pine dust box? Abhored by the lack of ettiqute which should be daily breath for such an opressed minority group, who prides themselves on appearence?
Apprently not. They are too busy putting down the hillbilly invasion of applebee's north at 9:00 p.m.
Personaly my thrift store outfit was right on. Grey slacks, with a printed yellow t, ralph laruen suit coat, and a socking cap, I hardly feel I was a poster child for the homlessness of the world. Where is Jay McCarrol in all of this? Where is self-expression, where is respect.
