Thanks to my father, the house is winterised to the 10th degree. Not only is it HOTTER than HELL (maybe he was suggesting something 8-)), but dry as a fucking bone. Its african hot, I may have to start shedding clothing. Can't open a single window, cause they all have plastic on them. I swear I live in a bubble sometimes.
The panel went fantastic. Incendently I was the only "homo" on it. The token lesbo never showed up. I briefly sat in on Scotts presentation and it w as amazing. Crisp, energetic, and fantastic. I had alot of nervousness during the panel/open discussion. I'm so glad I did it, and although there wasn't any fun questions asked, it was still a good expereince.
I'm going to be a LJ posting WHORE tonight. Sorry.

Date: 3 Nov 2005 21:02 (UTC)The class instructor wanted a SIMPLE, SMALL panel. A lesbo, a homo, and an alli. The lesbo didn't show up.
I've been in LARGE panel groups before with more than one gay person (male/female) which can cause more problems than good. Yes, its great to have more than one of the homo-species on board, but that can cause a disagreement in attitudes towards the panel members and more of a heated debate between the panel than an open discussion with the class.
