Thanks to my father, the house is winterised to the 10th degree. Not only is it HOTTER than HELL (maybe he was suggesting something 8-)), but dry as a fucking bone. Its african hot, I may have to start shedding clothing. Can't open a single window, cause they all have plastic on them. I swear I live in a bubble sometimes.

The panel went fantastic. Incendently I was the only "homo" on it. The token lesbo never showed up. I briefly sat in on Scotts presentation and it w as amazing. Crisp, energetic, and fantastic. I had alot of nervousness during the panel/open discussion. I'm so glad I did it, and although there wasn't any fun questions asked, it was still a good expereince.

I'm going to be a LJ posting WHORE tonight. Sorry.

When I did panels at the college, they got QUITE heated and quite personal. IT was fun cause these kids would dish it out, and I would dish it right back, ie: are you a bottom? Why don't I take you home and you can find out for yourself!

These people were educated and professional so no fun questions--sigh

Sorry I missed your panel discussion. You were the only gay on it and it was about diversity? Wow, we are so diverse here. ugh.......

Yes and no. Mayo should be applauded for having such a class. What I saw of it prior ot the panel discussion was RIGHT ON!

The class instructor wanted a SIMPLE, SMALL panel. A lesbo, a homo, and an alli. The lesbo didn't show up.

I've been in LARGE panel groups before with more than one gay person (male/female) which can cause more problems than good. Yes, its great to have more than one of the homo-species on board, but that can cause a disagreement in attitudes towards the panel members and more of a heated debate between the panel than an open discussion with the class.

Get some humidty back in the air before your mucous membranes shrivel! Put a bowl of water by a heat vent, simmer good smelling cinnamon and cloves in pan for hours, or get a cheap humidifier. :0 )
