thirteenrocksRan to the gas station, and just got back. The clerk stated that gas prices are going up again. Currently $2.55.
I guess I don't understand the whole deal about gas, and why people will sit and bitch about it. I remember prior to us bombing Iraq, people were wating HOURS in line for gas. Where has that gotten them now? The cheap gas they bought, has already been used, and did they gain anything by clogging a gas station at 9:30 p.m.
We have SPENT Billions of dollars, which we don't have, to fight a one sided war over a fossil fuel that will eventually be gone. Its just a matter of time really...
We, as a nation, have just launched a rocket to a space station, to repair it, when we only visit the space station on a very seldom basis, and those only with enough cash, are able to visit it. ITs not a tourist destination, unless your bankacount isn't insured by the FDIC.
Why havn't we taken the time, instead of fighting a one-sided forign war, instead of bitching about gas, and find ALTERNITIVE ways of travel. With all the intellegent engineers, scientists, and knowledgable people in our world, certianly someone has a clue....
Why havn't we taped into PUBLIC transportation, Electronic modes of transporation (Segways anyone), or used the idea of, I don't know, CARPOOLING, to help the situation.
Everyones out for themselves, and I got gas.

I was watching the original Herbie the other day and gas in the movie was only 41 cents. :o
