Neither one of us, could commit to knowing when we last spoke, yet agreed once again, we pick up where we left off. Alan and i finally connected via the phone this evening. He had been galavanting across Europe, sent photos, and once back in Canada, wanted to "catch up". It wasn't a real long phone call, less than an hour.
He brought up the video again, amongst his articulation of the longevity of our relationship, from meeting per chance on a gay cruise ship in 2007, which happened to be caught on video, by allan himself. Got to love home movies.
During our fail out months after meeting, I asked and received the majority of the video footage on the DVD's. There is countless hours of footage he took. I know this, not only from recollection, from having attempted to edit the footage into some-type of "film"
That is what was the original plan that never materialized with Allan, editing it down. He doesn't have any of the footage. I do.
I think my winter project will be doing just that, editing the film down, into some type of playable form.
The Austin Faerie's had a film festival this year, and I think I may need to enter this next year. Yeah another project *smile*
