Met up with the big J.C. this a.m. at his house for coffee and conversation. He is dating one of his roomates which made me more comfortable about the whole escapade going on in my life, since J.C.'s and my life never seem to ever meet. Conversation was substance, and the black coffee divine.
Headed afterwards to the estate sale from HELL. Actually it wasn't that bad, scant in the offerings which most of the juicy stuff was long gone before I even sat foot in the door. THere was a plethora of people outside who must of just fell off the mayflower. I understand there is lack of knowledge regarding the fine etiquete of estate sale shopping, but Puh-leaze... people were bitching that the corpse was not letting alot of people through the door, the line was long...
..on top if it, people were going through the garage and basically letting themselves in. HELLO fuck-wads, this is not your grandma's rummage sale. There are rules and regulations...
Specially since it shocked people that others have been waiting at 5:00 a.m. at the sale to be first in line.. and to get a good "number". Hello! For a juicy estate sale, I have slept in my car for up to 8 hours to be the first 10-15 to be let inside... its just the game you play...
Picked up a funky phone that I think might be a big EBAY find... if I could only make out the artists name... some towels, old x-mas ornaments, and a cute little chair to take to auctions and the like...
