The morning after....
29 March 2007 02:57Insomnia threw a few punches last night, we did a couple rounds of pillow fighting, yet I prevailed at the ripe hour of 4:30ish. Stoped watching the clock measure the hours, really not sure when I sucummbed to slumber. The exact time doesn't really matter.
Managed to be productive, pack for the weekend, ect. ect. The problem manifested in itself with thoughts, ideas, pondering every situation, and it went down hill from there. Brain was in overdrive. At least there is work, to focus on tonight, and tomarrow. The controled life of work at times, is a great distraction from life outside the hospital-cause lord knows I have one, besides being polly pill pusher.
Made it out to Target, during the rain and scored the 2 disc Happy Feet. Currently am the short-lived owner of 2 copies (one which will be destined for the Meat Brothers).
In case anyone is wondering, Allan is the narrator on the second disc. As another patron grabed a copy, the thought of telling her, this limited edition is SO much better, and I personally KNOW the narrator on the second disc.... came to pass through my mind.
And in case your wondering, its utterly fabulouse, to hear his voice on the Nat. Geo special, and more importantly, to see his name in the credits. The feeling is that of looking at an egg, and knowing whats inside. Came clean about the entry I wrote yesterday morning on our conversation, and he got quite teary eyed.. "oh allan-as Chris would say.... when it comes to anything else, I'm open, talking to him on how he makes me feel.. i'm somewhat gaurded...just havn't cracked that shell-quite yet.
