Driving down County Road G on the way to Michaels workshop, I had the latest single of the dixie chicks blasting out of the speakers, cows were turning heads to the racket.
Music is a perfect expression of anger, joy, sorrow, amid a bucket full of other emotions. What better way to say what is on your mind, than a song-- the classic "fuck-you" song, with a twist. The twist being what controversy stired such a poyant song that ranks right up with "untouchable face".
Here is where I drew a blank. Huh?
After reading what happened, and taking the gamble of releasing not an apollogy, but an affirmation "made my bed, and sleep like a baby-no regrets....", I have a greater respect for the texan trio than before.
Those pretty pretenders need to take a long look into the mirror before casting stones. one starts living, after they burn that society box of what is supposed to be normal.
