Took Mr. Phat Borris to the vet today, for the first time.

He was is usuall Phat borris self. He even PUKED in the exam room. So proud of him.

However I was TOTALLY insulted. They weighed him, and MR. Phat Borris, only weighs.. get this, 16lbs of fluffy orange goodness. How is going to be able to live up to his namesake, if he weighs only 16lbs.

Put him on some new cat food and hopefully that will help his little pee'ing problemo. Everyone got a kick out of his name! Vets ROCK!

Even Zim weighs atleast 17 - I stepped on the scale with him the other day. He doesn't even look that fat he's just a huge cat.

Puke in the exam room is classic though!

tee hee
once i took my non-furry child (the actual human one) to the ER because he said he felt 'funny' - he wasn't the kind of kid that felt 'funny' so i took him in
the er triage nurse came up and said 'he looks fine to me mom' (in that patronizing voice) and the child promptly projectile vomited all over here - 'guess not' said the mommy

glad you got mr boris in and hope the food works -

xx

Oh, cats and their pee problems. Titty the Kitty, my favorite cat of all time, ended up having to have a perineal urethrotomy because of his chronic kidney infections. Yes, my cat had a sex change. None of us told him, so he remained blissfully ignorant of the fact to the day he died. He was also orange.

I LOVE orange cats. The kitten I kept is dilute orange, but she turned out to be a girl. The official term of her color is carmelized.

I want to see photos of Phat Borris. Orange cats totally rule.

It is a little well known fact among cat owners that Orange cats almost always have urinary problems when they get older. I have never been able to figure out why exactly...just that it is so.

I hope that Phat Borris lives a long and healthy life.
