People Have The Power

thirteenrocksOpinions are like assholes, everyone has one-and mine is no different.
Diversity and individuality has been a fore-front moto in human culture for the past few decades. Embrace the differences, respect others freedom of choice, do your own thing. The ideals of diversity and individuality are revolutionary: our ancestors, Parents alive in the 1920's, 1950's had limited choices than the people of today. There are alot more options, choices, ideals, concepts then there ever was.
I am amazed at the amount of human beings that are out for a "free ride". Specifically co-workers who fail to assit others to "get-r-done". Because they are in the mindsight of self-preservation, almost egotistical, they refuse to answer another persons call light, or frankly do his or her job. Instead of working, he or she does the minimal amount of effort to just slide by. Although I don't agree with this, to his or each own.
What is lacking is team work.
Human beings are so head strong on his or her opinion, they repel others due to there own diversity. Why help someone else when I have my own problems. why do this, when I think this way, I don't like her, so I am not going to do it.
More so the latter at the WFMC (world famous Mayo Clinic), and also the world outside these walls-where people are upsett at so and so, therefor refuse to set aside personal issues for the general good or the whole-the good of the team.
Everyone is trying to fuck over the next person.
No longer is it a Dog eat dog world, its a Fuck over fucks over world.
But what if, for one day- those issues were set aside, and something was done. WHAT IF?
A pretty big if, yes, and yet not unachieveable.
With the gas prices rising, and the goverment fucking anything that moves, what IF, for 24 hours....
.... The people took the power, and NOT buy a single drop of gas.
The exhumination and reinvention of the 1963 bus-boycott.
If we all stick together.. and that is quite alot of ALL...
The people can, have the power.
