thirteenrocksWoke up about noonish. Not my usual waking hour, but none-the less. Moments before Karen had called me on my cell phone-it was on silent. She was at Goodwill, and saw a mission headboard. Went out to look at it. Great gal, put a sold sign on it for me...
Although it was nice, realitivly new, and probably would of fit my bed(s), I passed it up. Just wasn't my thing. We spent the remainder of the day, digging around in bins-looking at clothes. Came out like a bandit I did-specially with an asian rug for the hallway, at 3.99. oldhalloween visits, makes me green with envy. I think a road trip is in order.
Karen, for being high class that she is, really is a kid at heart, blowing her straw wrapper at me. Went to Hy-Vee for coffe in the deli, and she said, "want to do lunch"-- we went around to all the sample ladies and literally had lunch! It was so childlike-and yet, just a riot. Alot of fun...
She's a great friend to know.. and there is a reason why she is in my life.... for what, I havn't discovered yet..
