4 December 2023 17:34I randomly text'd my siblings this morning of the recent discovery of the death of our Elementary school art teacher. He died January 1st of 2022, 70 years old.
The reply's was inquiring of the source of information, and the consensus that he was a dick. He apparently hated my brother.
He had promised the clean up crew for an art project, some type of payment. I was in elementary school and took part in taking down an installation after school. When brought up to his attention the next day, he didn't follow through and I questioned him about it. I was to meet him after school. Inadvertently I heard him talk about no giving payment to other teachers while I was in the office for some reason. I didn't stop by his office.
I ran into him years later. I was wearing this vibrant colorful fake silk shirt that was a favorite of mine. We were at some culture event. He flamboyantly stated that my shirt just brightened him up. Flattered that he enjoyed my favorite ensemble.
Why was I on this hunt for what ever happened to the dick head art teacher in Elementary School? I had searched previously, without any remnants, obviously years ago. I found what I was looking for, verification. Found in the obit. Partner of 40 years, J someone. Yes, that skinny man of an art teacher, in third grade was gay.
