At the end of my Wednesday night yoga class, I recited a verse from the book "Eat Pray Love" that I had come to mind several days before. The verse relates to the ruin of the Augusteum in Rome, Italy. How it went from a monument to a fire-works depository of all things, to the present state. That life is end endless wave of transformation.
Note to self: Be careful what you put out into the universe.
Thursday morning, I was told I would be leaving my present position with the residents, to working with the Chair of the department, and his service.
The instant messages and e-mails, of congrats came after.
I got a text from a former co-worker of the same sort, who heard that I had applied and accepted that position. Which, was not the case. Spent most of the day in discussion and damage control.
It important to me, to make sure there was no ill feelings towards the chief service, and that I did not apply or accept the position. Spent Friday trying to finish closing the service. I just need to let it go. Onto new adventures.
