Tentpole and I got into Minneapolis about 5:00 and to his hotel, with the car unpacked, and his thrift store treasures strewen over the second bed in the room by 5:45ish. He inquired about having dinner again, which I got a bit upset and said that I can't. I work in the morning, plus I had an hour and a half drive ahead of me. There is a time when the party ends, and it was now, I was making that decision.

Stoped at Mc'D's for some food as we hadn't eaten much since leaving Duluth, MN this morning.

Tentpole is a hard core thirfter, putting even myself to shame. I we hit up about 10 thrift/estate-sale/antique store's over the course of the weekend. Interesting enough, he picks up some weird ass shit. Oh, and he will shop all day, all night, constantly. He even prepared by brining a giant suitcase to take the loot home in.

His best find was either the duck creamer pitcher, or the cowboy boots from the bins. Mine was probably the anatomy skull, and the loafter shoes. The bins were super crazy covid-19 protocol, and had many rules and it was just odd. We made the best of it, and had fun. The best thrift store was Shaloam Thrift in Cambridge, Mn. Never been, and not sure geographically we were, but it was a fun little honey whole to finish off the day.

I decided that trying to say I;m sorry about past choices is self-depricating, and I need to try to stay positive. It was an odd ride home, as I was pretty much DONE at this stage of the game. Regardless, the drive back from Minneapolis, was a good time to thing, catch up on some food.

If Tentpole showed me anything, was that going into acting (which he does) and I am thankful that we were able to spend some time together on a hodge podge roadtrip, and thrifting adventure.

We hugged, I kissed his shoulder once, and said our goodbyes. Called him when I got home and talked very briefly, and said good journey. Not bad for some guy I have only met twice before.

I think he really enjoyed it, and that is what counts.
