7 November 2007 18:16The Tribal Council spoke yesterday.
Since the mass exudus off the nursing unit over the summer, there has been in influx of young, fresh, blood. The once senior tribe has been unbalanced by the newbies. And the Tribal Council has spoken.
Our already fucked up vacation policy, was changed yesterday. It is quite complicated, therefore I'll spare the details. I voted, and my choice didn't fair out. Personally, with such a big organisation as Mayo is, I find that they have WAY to much little details to figure out, and it isn't being managed to the fullest extent. I see this new policy to be more problematic....
I did manage to get vacation time for the Vegas trip, which is bloody good-since its already paid for. The other excursions for 2008, are up for grabs... and I'm not sure if I will be blessed with having the time off or not...
In other tribal council news, we are changing the color of our scrubs! Its about fucking damn time. No more hunter green! THank god. The only other unit who dresses in green is the float staff, and i"m tired of others assuming I am float staff. Honey, no. The new color.... NAVY BLUE! Stylish, yes. I really wanted PINK. HOT PINK SCRUBS! FOR REAL.
