Still Mr. Cranky Pants. Best advice to stay 200 feet away. Iternal combustion don't you know.
Apparently, somewhere within is this contentful nice streak. Must learn to be the cold hearted bitch that I am.
Took a few for the team this weekend. Dispite lack of thought on other medical staff.
Came into work on Saterday to discover Miss Crusty had called in sick for Saterday and Sunday. Odd really, since not only was she in near perfect health on Thrusday night, she talked to me Friday morning, and sure as hell was planning working on Sat/Sun. Miss Crusty has one of the worst track records for being sick. She's been off more times than she has worked, and she is full time. Things that make one go hmmmmm. Worked Saterday, the full shift.
Apparently being Day Charge, makes one immune from knowing ANYTHING about the patients at all. The day charge prides herself on making assignments months ahead of time, and trying to be important. For the night shift, tonight, she had 4 nurses for 10pts. Which, is a joke. Therefore, I took ahold of the situation, and another nurse-got to have the rest of the night off.
It should be ME! Dammit, that has the rest of the night off. HOwever, that would leave 2 nurses that are so wound up tighter than a snare drum, on the floor of ten patients, that valium in buckets would have to be droped via chopper to calm the entire hospital after this night shift. Frankly, I don't trust thier decision making capabilities.
Which leaves me... *waves* HI Everyone!
When I arrive back to the bungalow in the morning, going to put up the 5 million volt electrical fence around the yard, unplug anything that makes noize, and a HUGE do not disturb sign on the door!
