Chimming in with the 9/11 tribute.
I had worked the night before, getting off from work at 7:30 and going back to the apartment. I slept. GAP called me and canceled my shift for that evening because "of the world events" as it stated on my answering machine.
Living without tv, radio, or newspaper has its advantages/disadvantages. Truth me known, it wasn't untill I got into work on that night, about this same time, that I learned as what occured during the day. I must of been one of the few people on the planet that had yet to find out.
imyaj and I were at Ground Zero over labor day weekend. Its hard to describe the acutall BEING there, compared to the stuff in the news. I got a little teary eyed, a little angry, and a little sad. To go from all these HUGE buildings reaching to the sky, to a big hole, well its notiable, specially all the damage that occured to nearby buildings that is yet to be repaired.
