His Holiness the Dali Lami in a Hot Tub making Choices

His Holiness the Dali Lama will be at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Mn next monday. He is comming to speak about healtcare.

Unfortunately I wasn't cool enough to be picked to attend. Because of the interest (is there any), tickets were done on the loto. Given there are somewhere between 10-20,000 people employed by the Clinic, I didn't have the greatest chance, but hey, nothing lost, nothing gained.

Got an odd Yahoo.msg from Eric inviting me over for hot tub night. Couldn't be a more perfect night, warm, no breeze and a full moon to boot. From a socialogical standpoint, its always interesting to see how these things go down. At first I thought it was just a personal invite. Once arrived, there was 5 naked homo's in a hot tub including Eric and his partner Dale. What a way to spend the night-relaxing.... very enjoyable indeed.

For what it is worth, I am FINALLY completed with auryn24's, "art project" she comissioned me to make to claim her memories from Hurricane Katrina. What started out as one idea was scraped, then another was started, scraped, and I went back to my first plan, and it just went from there.... more commentary, and photos behind the cut. Pre-coffee

Slept S.H.I.T.T.Y last night. Jim came over and we went to an estate sale. It SUCKED major fucking ass. Seriously, were these people smoking crack? And if so, they were not sharing. The prices were out of this world. Saw some intersting things but nothing to major-bought an ashtray for 50 cents. They ahd an A and C drapery for 30 bucks, however it so was not worth it. Hager planters for 20 bucks, when they bring crap at auction. O well...

Obsessed with AI's queen songs. Caught bits and pieces the other night-the patients were watching it. Would love to know what everyone did as songs. Unfortunately the internet isn't giving up any secrets lately. Fuckers. Although I do love me some Paris Bennett Show must go on.

Nothing going on today. Need to run to the P.O. and do some house work.

Estate sales and future Embargo's

Had coffee with the "queen" this afternoon and ran over to GW since I was in the area. Wouldn't you know, all that over priced C.R.A.P. at the estate sale, was in the good will bins! I picked up the madonna statue I fell in love with, not for 20.00 bucks, but for 3.99 baby.

Last year over Labour day there was a 3 week embargo with my sister-in-law Bridget. She was upset because I had to work Labour day, and didn't get off to spend time with her and the rest of the clan.

Mind you, just a few weeks ago, I took time off from my vacation and drove special to Millwaulke to help her out.

She's pissed at me again! Called the folks today to get Dad's daily scotum check (don't ask), and she, Porkchop, Brother Ryan, were at the folks for Easter. Sis and hubby come tomarrow. She wanted to know where I was and what time I was going to be there. Easter plans with the family were up in the air awhile go-so much I decided to waiver Christ comming out of the cave, to spend time in Rochester and throw a Homo-party. Her reply "You don't want to spend time with us? Don't you want to spend time with your family??".

O.k. Bitch. I'm going to say this once: I drove SPECIAL, 5 hours ONE fucking way to help you out with your kid. I'm spending the ENTIRE month of May with mom and dad, and will see you over the summer. WHAT'S the big deal? I know you sit at home and watch Barney and that purple fucker messes with your head-all that i love you, you love me crap, CAN'T I make a point to spend time with MYSELF.

Its a 4 hour DRIVE to mom and dad's. FIVE hours to your house-one way. How many times have you visited Rochester in the past 2 years.. let's count..shall we....

That's right. ONE TIME. If I am not mistakin' there is a 4 lane INTERSTATE that connects Rochester, MN with Millwualkee, Wi. If I can spend the 40 bucks for gas, so can you.
