thirteenrocksWhen I went abroad last year, I took a bump from a flight and landed a freq. flyer ticket. It was up, March 15th, so loose it or use it, and I decided to use it. When I called to make reservations, I was informed i had to take the travel voucher to a ticket counter within 24 hours or have it post marked, or I would lose it. I have have heard such a fucking stupid thing in my life . So New years day, found me, driving up to the MSP airport, after work with no sleep, to cash it in.
The airport was NUTZ. I should of known better with the "orange" alert on. There were people all over, and although I like airports a great deal, I was just NOT in a mood. Got my ticket, and my gay ass was on its way.
Since I was already out and about, I stopped at an auction in Shakopee, MN. I was out for some RW pottery, and they had it in abundence. I stayed.
Long story short, I ended up spending 400.00. OUCH. I really don't have that kind of money, and to make matters worst, I put it on my credit cards 8-(. I got some nice pieces, and now need to find a venue to resell most if not all of it, to get some money, to pay off some bills.. the vicouse cycle... but it is somethign i want to get into, so might as well...
at any rate, by the time i got back to rochester, it was 1600, and i hadn't slept. I got about 2.5 hours of sleep before going into another 12 hour shift. I wouldn't recomend it of anyone... but you do, what you do, and that is about it....
