Gay Sing along

thirteenrocksMet up with Dave in Minneapolis yesterday. Yesterday was long, drove to Mankato, to the cities, back to mankato, then BACK to the cities. By the time I took a small nap, it was too late. I was OUT. Game ovah.
Dave and I did manage to go to the Eagle last night. The Eagle is the Levi/Leather bar of Minneapolis. Known for being more on the "rough" side of things. Its a FANTASTIC bar. In one section they were playing videos, and having a "Gay sing along night". Such greats as "Don't rain on my parade", "Defying gravity", "sucks 2 b u (from ave Q)" were the highlights. There is something very poetic of a bunch of BUTCH men sitting around singing showtunes-or is it just me?!?!!
One of the things Dave and I have in common is our facination of people watching. We both do it constantly, and tend to share notes once it is said and done.
Had a good conversation with him before we called it a night. Hopefully will see him again this week, however the Alien-RENT-Lifeforms are threating to come up this weekend. Its the weekend before halloween, and already I have 2 parties to go to... won't happen if the Rents attack. *sigh*
