Here are some random hints about the photos:
1) Clean in focus shots are good
2) Red-eye-BAD
3) I want to see you, not your girlfriend, boyfriend, cousin, baby sister, mother, dad...
4) If you are using a photo with your girlfriend, boyfriend, do a better cut job than a black box, or a crossed out face.
5) Artistic photos are great. make sure you are the focus.
6) drunk photos, are not fun
7) If I wanted to rate your car, I'd go to rate-a-car.com
8) collages, not. so. much.
9) background: not to busy, not to fuzzy, just right
10) no arrows pointing out who you are...
11) If I wanted to see a beer commercial, I'd watch tv
