I'm Done. Officially.
At this point, I'm just looking for the exit.
Applied for a position in Endocrine working with the Transgendered population, which is less hours than I wanted, yet a clinic position and option to work from home. All bonus in my book.
The current Dr. I work with, chewed me out on Wednesday, for something I had NO PART in what-so-ever. Which nailed that coffin shut with working with him long term. The ambiguity of when this will settle down, has caused me mental strain, which I can't deal with any longer. Currently I am 1/2 with the residents and 1/2 with another surgeon. I pulled 9 1/2 hour days this week, which is affecting my time at home. There isn't a current plan, nor anything on the table that would rectify the situation. When I told nurse manager lady that I was looking for a job, she said she didn't blame me....
The sooner I find the exit.... the better.
