Graduation

In leiu of yesterdays revalation: My family can be a little wacky.

I graduated from Clarke College in 2000. May 13th.

I had decided to "decorate" my graduation cap with white medical tape. Something that wasn't "promoted" in the Solumn Quiet, and Respectable ceremony. Simply stated due to lack of space... "4 Dad".

Now Kara was much in the picture at this time, and her with my family. Well....
it was a dangerous concoction.

Not only was there a sign, there was a fisherman's hat, decorated in med-garb, shouts, screams, cheers, and a stuffed "Kermit the Frog" doll-- don't ask.

My dad got a little "choked" up with the hat. It made me an easy target to pick out, in a sea black hats. He always secretly wanted to be a nurse. Of course my mother told me this. Dad can be pretty stoic.

Let's Play HOUSE

For some odd reason....

....I'm in this massive "Lets play house" mode. There is reason to my madness, I'm entertaining this weekend, and am trying to get the house--presentable Joan Crawford clean.

I bought myself a 19 volt drill on the day after thanksgiving. Its a powerful little sucker, and by golly-I'll get that railing done upstairs, if it kills me.

Besides the fact I decided to not only tackle the basement, but the bedroom. If luck is on my side, I'll take photos and post. Hopefully the kids over on saucydwellings will enjoy.

At least I'm having fun doing it.
