16 January 2008 08:04There are 24 hours in a day. That's it. 365 days, make a year. Years add up to infinate lifetimes. Some lifetimes are shorter than others, some are much longer. Objects in the rear view window may seem closer than they appear.
Ever look back, when the moon has risen, and all of the lights in the neighboring homes have gone dark; the street lamp glows as guidance, illuminating street names and house numbers; t he tempature gradually changes to much colder and the grass sweats with presperation: and recall in microscopic detail, the last twenty four hours, and everything that entailed within that period sucks as details of the light as it awoken the room, the dust no longer clouding furniture, the smiles of the people you saw, the conversations held with the individuals you knew, what you ate ? I was just wondering.
Just shy of a full day, I was awake, in some form-thereof, yesterday, due primarily because of a staff meeting (Monday), which monkey wrenched the works. Today is Wednesday, hump day-I believe, but not sure. Once all was said and done, I crashed, as expected. I failed to hear the phone ring at 2300.
There were stones thrown in the road, my presentation went much better than ever expected and I managed to cut myself severly with a razor at the gym. Gyms are dangerous. We survived, and that was the point.
