Midwest Mentality
1 December 2007 16:22I was born in the Midwest, and have lived here the entire 30 years that I have inhabited the earth.
There is this midewest mentality, that thankfully has by-passed my mind set, which is fine by me.
Because the hard-core midwest individual, loves to make statements that are just, for lack of a better term, stupid.
For example: I got onto the elevator at work last night in the parking garage, and a middle age woman was complaining on how cold it was. Finally after trying to ignore her ranting and raving, I inquired if she was from the midwest. She was.
What do you expect? If you live in Minnesota, and it is December, one should be accustomed to the SNOW, THE COLD, and Storms. Did she think it would be 90 degree weather, in December? WTF?
It snows in Minnesota, ALOT. You deal. Surely there is other things to discuss than the fucking weather.
BAH! HUMBUG.
