Journaling, has truely become a vice for me. Maybe because it helps me track my point of view, my steps into the great beyond. I'm also very inspired what people write each day. Its fluid, funny, poetic, and comforting.

Allan informed me that he bought a journal, in his latest email. I had asked him prior to this trip, if he would bring one. He stated that his video camera was going to be his journal. THIS, which I have done as well, is wonderful, but trouble-some. Setting up a shot, or actually scleping it around, can be a pain in the ass. However with a JOURNAL, you can put it in a day pack, or a pocket, and your GOOD to go.

I always had 2. A pocket one for day, and a LARGER one for night. Because I wrote down everything: cost of items, locations, thoughts, buildings, artwork. Then when time allowed, on trains, on planes, at dinner-I'd write everything from the smaller notebook into the larger.

Because frankly that is exactly how the night unfolded.

Platteville, Wi had city wide rummage sale days-today. I didn't go, as my boycot of not attending such events still stands. I'm trying to "downsize-not supersize". I did give my parents a car load of "stuff" to get rid of.

They did a good job. 99.9% of my shit was sold. Although I question part of my parents priceing, I'm not going to baulk-the shit is gone, less space in this house.

I need to install a railing in the loft. I took down the IRON 1970's crap, when I moved in, and now need to replace it. I thought of doing it myself, however it looks like a little bigger project than I am willing to deal with. Hoping to clean part of the house today, and do some yard work by the end of the day... if the motivation and coffee holds out...
Started to work on the living room: cleaning, finishing up some small projects that I started and not quite finished. Put the light switch covers on, that sort of thing.

Listened to NPR's "This American Life" while doing so. This weeks show, like most of the shows, was facinating. An hour discussion on the American Psychology Association's decision to take homosexuality off of the DSMIV. Of notable mention was one of the protesters calling one of the members of the board, a "MotherF*cker"!

Ira Glass is just fantastic as the host of the weekly program which each week features stories from peoples lives. Gives one a new outlook/viewpoint on the world around us, and this, this is always a good thing.
Top 10 Reasons I am THANKFUL that I am a proud pink card carying homosexual.
