Went out with Frank for coffee. Hes a wonderful soul and always has some insight into reality that is refreshing, sometimes he is better than my shrink and doesn't charge the 200.00 dollar fee to listen to me bable for an hour.
Random Acts of Kindness. Simple really. A small token of appreciation for a total stranger. Got on the RAK LJ community list, and found how easy it can be. Some simple home-made postcards, simple home-made ornaments, or a letter, or some art supplies, easily shipped for under 5 bucks-making its way around the USA. Sent out the first batch, the second may take some more time, but had a pile of stuff that needed to go to the post office, and sent out round one of x-mas cards...
People watching at the post office is the bomb. Being a frequent user of postal mail, I can play the game and be prepared like the rest of them. Some are not. The ones who wait in line to find out they have to fill out forms, or they have boxes marked alchohol which is contraband, or the little london lady trying to ship a BIKE-yes a BIKE-handlebars and 2 wheels via the USA postal service. Got to love that!
Have to admit the new stamps are teh bomb-specially the jim henson and the new constelation ones.
