foundobjects. Sometimes and oldhalloween will tell you, most post photographs found either at estate sales, on the street, whatever. Photographs of strangers, from another place, another time, floating in the wind. As I was checking out at Walmart last night, it came to me about my photograph, of being in drag in the Rochester magazine. How so many people have seen that photograph, and have seen me on the street and won't put two and two together. How, while at the halloween festiviteis with auryn24 a plethora of passerbys took my photo. They went to where they came, got the film developed, and shared my image with there friends, posted my photo whereever to the masses. How many people have photos of my image (both in and out of drag), that are just out there. Pieces of me. Unkown.

i'm freezing that frame
Death. Dying. Reincarnation. I was the last person to see Grandma Thiede alive. I one of three who saw Aunt Rosemary alive. I burried them both, being pallbearer. I lifted them into the earth in which they came. The earth is a circle, comes around again, spinning on its axis. Last night I took care of an elderly woman. I swear, it was her...in some sense of the word. Her face, her demnor, it was her.
In my life time I have known more men and women that are listed in the bible, old and new testiment. Some i've known, some I've passed by, but they all become pieces of you, in one way or another, they shape you, many hands on the potters wheel.
So goodnight, those i've met, those I've soon to meet, and those who are dear. And although I missed a phone call, know that I am thinking of you, and wishing you a restfull sleep.
