Saw a bumper sticker on a car today that read:

Rejoice: the virgin mary was pro-choice.

I HAVE REAL issues with this. For starters, the technology wasn't available in biblical times to support abortions, nor was the thinking.

The fact is this is just stupid, it is using the bibnle to justify somthing that was man-made by the use of higher thinking and technology.

I guess I just don't get it.

**on a side note: men who carry the cell phone on the belt... HELLO... the cell phone is not an accessory.
Mr. T. and I finally made the mass exodus with the furniture to my house: a victorian fainting couch, and a victorian love seat. Although it will have to be a "labor" of love. Once all said and done: I'll have to wonderful pieces of furniture for the loft.

However, I don't believe the furniture has stopped talking.

A brief history: the pieces were originally from North Carolina, and a friend of MR. T's had an antique store and wanted MR. T to store them for her. That was 5 years ago. DUring which Rats, Mice, and god only knows what have attacked them, and thus, they need to be restored.

The fainting couch, is a mystery. The front of it is very ornate woodwork, however has hinges on it, so the piece would open up. But to what? IT was reapolisterd from the originaly horse hair, which can be seen by the nails, and what we discoverd, once we opened it up and took off the fabric. Hidden in an army blanket, were 3-4 homemaid quilts. Nothing too fancy, but interesting enough. Still no date. Last night I took off the army blanket, and noticed a tag that the blanket was inspected in 1935, and a name of some guy. Although it is a start, it doens't really answer anything, becuase this blanket could of came from anywhere, and not nessarcy the owner of the house. QUestions and answers.

The loveseat, is in better condition, and yet, when it was too reapolistered with quite care, I should add, the covered the original fabric, a red, which is quite interesting in itself. Although prob not salvagable, it is still interesting enough to say the least.
