Afternoon Tea and coffee

Surprisingly enough after [livejournal.com profile] leperheart mentioned that the entire cd of Tori Amos's latest work, has been leaked, I took it upon my limited use of computer knowledge, and quickly found the whole album. Pretty easy to find.

Pirate music. We are the products our own making. There is no one to blame, than ourselves. Society has insisted on pushing technology to the extremes. Computers and the birth of the realitively new internet, has been both a blessing and a curse. Society has been able to share information, ideas and communicate more than ever before, across distances that wasn't possible 10 years ago. However with everything there is a price. With the new technology there has been a question of confidentiality (e-mails, and other information being sent, and viewed by unknown 3rd party), virus, and as we saw over the weekend, PANIC when the "system" crashes.

Society has used technology to make waves in preventing disease, sickness, and promoting health in the world. However, we have created disease, and a booming population that has or will eventuall suck out the marrow of our existance by using up more resources than available.

We got ourselves in our own mess, and we have to get ourselves out.

Enough on a political commentary for the afternoon.

As far as the music concerned, its thier own fault. Lack of security, or what-not, has made it public. Sorry guys, but you fucked up, and its no one fault than your-own.

I hope nobody ever teaches you the error of your "logic".

I felt so pathetic when I started freaking out over not being able to access my LJ. You're right about us and technology.

I found your journal through [livejournal.com profile] leperheart, and after officially deeming you cool I decided to add you.

asid from a handful of songs, i can't get over the "adult-contemporary" crap-tastic-ness of most of it. what did you think?

I have only listened to about 1/2. It is Not comparable to her old stuff which IMHO was raw and wonderful. Its very mellow I thought.
