State of the Union
It should come to NO SURPRISE that NOT only am at Work, but I am staying the full 12 hours.
Anybody who would like to contribute comments regarding that I am stupid, dumb, crazy, and putting my patients at risk, are MORE than welcome to do so.
I have gotten a total of possibly 3 hours of sleep, and it wasn't high quality.
According to our budget, we are still over the numbers, and frankly Scarlet, I don't give a damn. We should run with 3 nurses tonight, and we got 4 on.
Not that I expect a gold medal, thanks, or any hero award. I'm sure I'll be treated by shit, walked over, fucked over, and screwed over all in due time, if not by 7:00 a.m.
As of 1900 when I left, I still had an inch of water in the basement, with more rain comming down. I'm exhausted, tired, and my body will surely suffer.
What I don't do for others, I must be a sadist or something.
I work Wednesday this week. Between you and Me, I'm calling in. But we both know that won't happen. I don't know why I even mention it. Lately, I just don't know why I even try anymore.
I'm thankful for this however. I'm thankful that my parents drove 3 hours one way, to help take care of my basement, and were instrumental in helping aid in clean up.

imyaj brought me a pack of ciggarettes, a pint of ice-cream, and some bars (which I left at home). Also that she always has an ear to hear about my ranting.
