Dinner Theater Beauty and the Beast

ALthough I was full fledged against it, due to not having quality time off from the assembly line grind, I did enjoy my outing to Chanhassen's production of Beauty and the beast. A dinner theater-Whoot! Whoot!

The production was alright. Costumes were to DIE for. The wardrobe lady had working drawers and doors. Cute outfit. "Luminare" and his french dust mop stole the show. Quite funny and knew the part to a T. Set was wonderfully constructed. The pillars used for the "castle" contained books for the library, as well as one of the trees held the magical "rose". However, I had some issues with the production itself. It seemed that the music was pre-recorded, with the singers "supposedly" singing live, however at times it was hard to hear them. And LOW energy let me tell you, the energy was SO low. I realise from performing since March, they are probably sick to death of the show, however show a little energy, spruce it up, find your motivation and go with it....

Drove back to Austin, and then onto Roch. Thus why I am getting home at 3:30 and on the computer at 4:20. Hoping to get some art projects finished today. I have idea's sprouting for the Katrina Shrine. Just trying to put those ideas in motion and get a small start on it......

at least Mr. Headache is subsiding.
