Into the Wild
8 April 2008 23:41I finished reading the book "Into the wild".
This is one specific case, that I recomend the movie over the book.
At times the author, goes on tagents that stray from the main topic: that of a young man who drops out of society and lives a vagabond lifestyle only to die alone in the Alaskan Wilderness.
Fortunately for me, Wal-mart had the 2 disc special edition of the film, but failed to have a copy of "Transamerica". They did have "I now pronouce you chuck and larry" that I find Ironic. Don't you think. Fuckwads.
Roxxane tonight mentioned having seen it. For conversation, I threw it in, although I must admit, there was something that has always impressed me about her, and I am glad that we have somewhat trying to reconnect. I've known her in differnt "time periods" of my life, and the recconnect really brings ones home. Because its really truely about growth, and growing..and changing.. and going with that change, and accepting life for what it is... life.
That, and I need to have a major come to Jesus meeting. But that is another topic for another time.
