Religion, Vikings, and the weekend ahead

I had another dream this morning. Although I don't recall the finer details. I was running away from home, from my parents. I was in hiding, and had thrown my panties in a bag, and tried to disappear.

I was raised Catholic, confirmed Catholic, and practiced untill I arrived in Rochester. I've dabbled with other organised religions, and havn't found anything that has latched on. Its been years since I have gone to church on my own-free will. Why does this sound like I am in a confessional ?

I was on the tred mill this morning, proud that I have gone to the gym pretty much as much as possible, and felt a little peace, that I was being focused, and able to process anything that came my way.

Gary and I are going to a Luthern Church tonight for Lutefisk! Ubber excited, these little pow-wows are usually a hoot and a half. Since I have never had Lutefisk, I'm embracing the local heritage, and diving in.

Hopefully tomarrow it will be a warm fall day. I seriously need to focus on getting the yard, and the house (for that matter) in shape for the impending snow storm.....

IT reminded me of some wierd fish jello. Blah. The Rutabega: ROCKED. YUM!

However the entire experience of the dinner was such a silly hoot, and the company to be divine, that I absolutely LOVED IT.

Johnathan who dates Captian Haldol of the Epiliptic Seizures, was there, minus the Captain. When he is solo, he is a hoot to talk to, and can hold his own. Has a heart of gold to be with Captain Haldol for 4 years. WORD!!!

It was held at a country luthern church west of bumble-fuck Egypt, west of the middle of nowwhere. We sat with two stag-men, whose wives are against fish-lard, and a couple, who were entertained by the bantering of a stoned fairy and 2 other guys!

Cause we talked a HOOT. Plastic plates, a gay server that I knew from the drag years, and enough coffee to wash the jello down.. HELL YEAH!!!

Gary and i had a good coversation back at his place over Cosmos. He can actually be an interesting person, when he wants to be....

Talked to Ken online, which I find facinating, and interesting. Life can be just very interesting at times, and I am really enjoying these little moments....
