Random Act of Kindness
Did hospital rounds this morning. I left my pager number with the nurse taking care of the inpatient. And it didn't surprise me that I got a page. Paula was bubbly and cool. In our initial discussion, I told her that I expected to more pages from her as the day progresses, and that it wouldn't be a problem.
It's definitely my experience to have the ability to sniff out situations, prior to them getting out of control.
Clinic ran late. On a Friday. I grabbed a candy bar from the vending machine in the break room, grabbed my things, punched out, and walked back over to the hospital. I knew the nurse worked till 7p.m. Found her at the station and gifted her a little treat. We had a bunch of hugs and apparently worked together about 500 years ago. She looked familiar. The skinny red head did as well, although her must of worked with us for A very short time. What a very enjoyable thing to have occur at the end of the day.
